When Susan Wilson decided she wanted to buy a caboose and have it on the land by her home, husband Mike didn’t bat an eyelid – unlike most husbands, I would think. But things didn’t stop there. Before long the couple have several railway carriages on their property.

They toyed with the idea of making them into a museum but – luckily for travellers – decided to create bed and breakfast accommodation with a difference. The accommodation offers you fabulous views, an unusual place to sleep and friendly service from Mike and Susan.

The rooms are quirkily and often luxuriously furnished and one of the latest acquisitions is a dining car where you can enjoy your breakfast overlooking the views from this mountain location. And guests rave about the fresh and filling breakfast!
