I live in Florida so it’s no surprise that I highly recommend it as a wonderful destination. Great weather, the beaches, the ocean, plenty to see and do – what more could you want? Florida also has a fascinating history that’s well worth exploring. Fort Myers has all these and more. Indeed, in years gone by both Henry Ford and Thomas Edison had their summer homes there so it has also been home to the rich and famous.
And there’s much more about the area that makes it a fascinating destination. Ity has several universities and a special place is the science centre. See too the downtown area and the waterfront entertainment district. Fort Myers has all the benefits of the more famous Florida locations but is much more peaceful and laid back.
