Kangaroo Island is a sleepy place – it’s as though the twenty-first century didn’t happen. It’s also home to an incredible range of flora and fauna – plus beautiful beaches and wonderful sights.

This can’t last for much longer. Tourists are going to the island in increasing numbers so you’d be wise to put it on your bucket list as a place to visit soon.

It’s relatively easy to get to Kangaroo Island from Adelaide. You can catch a ferry from Cape Jervis, which is roughly a two hour drive from Adelaide. The ferry crossing takes only forty five minutes and you can take your car (or bike) with you.

Now a wildlife sanctuary, you’ll see kangaroos and koalas in their natural habitat. You’ll see dolphins and seals in their natural setting.
