Sputnik Design Hostel, Moscow

Sputnik Hostel is in a fantastic location in the heart of Moscow. Take a look at the map below. It’s convenient for so many places that you’ll want to experience and sights you’ll want to see. In addition, there are many nearby bars, cafés and restaurants.

You can get around easily via the nearby subway – or use the round-the-clock Moscow public bus service. The area is also well-supplied with cabs and uber.

Like most hostels, it’s a budget option but that doesn’t mean that the issues that are important to us all – hygiene, comfort, friendliness – have been sacrificed as the video demonstrates.

There are all the amenities you’d expect such as free wifi etc., and other facilities which are great for travellers are available too – secure storage, self-catering faclities, air conditioning/heating, laundry and ironing facilities, parking and even a book exchange. (I admit to having a particular fondness for book exchanges when travelling light!)
