Santorini is a small Greek island set in sparkling seas. It’s an almost magical place and one of he most popular and fascinating places on the island is Oia. And one of the best accommodation you will find there is the Katikies Hotel.

Santorini is best known for its bright white houses with their blue domes – they cluster on the hillsides overlooking the South Aegean Sea. In many cases these are cave houses behind their facades,  cut into the cliffs and originally housing the mariners who worked from the area.

The Katikies Hotel however is fully modernised and recently refurbished and has all the amenities that the modern traveller desires. Yet it retains the charm of the traditional local buildings. It’s well situated too and is just a short walk to sights such as Amoudi Bay.

You only have to look  at the photographs below to see how crisp and luxurious the hotel is without losing any of its traditional Santorini charm.
