The massive cruise ship, the AIDAprima, was built in 2015 and launched the following year. It’s a spectacular vessel. It was created to attract younger travellers to the cruising life and has so many fabulous features.
It truly is a floating city. It boasts fifteen different dining options, swimming pools and the Beach Club – which is protected by a dome so that cruisers can enjoy beach weather all year round and in any climate. The dome is even constructed so that UV rays don’t get though for safe ‘sunbathing’.
The ship took a mere eight months to build but thanks to timelapse videography, you can see the construction in only eight minutes. Truly fascinating!
