If so, then you’ll find that Fort Lauderdale is hard to beat. And there’s so much more than the sea, sand and sun. Fort Lauderdale’s events calendar is always busy – from festivals to theatre, from art exhibitions to sporting events – and there’s always plenty going on. In fact, there’s something for everyone.

But for the beach-lover, Fort Lauderdale offers a year-round average temperature of 75.5ºF and over 3,000 hours of sunshine annually. Even during the ‘rainy season’, the rain usually last for only an hour in the morning – and then Fort Lauderdale is back to its wonderful sunny self for the rest of the day.

Most guests today prefer not to stay in hotels that are on the A1A (the road that runs parallel to the coastline) because it can be very noisy, particularly at popular times of the year. The answer is to find accommodation which is close to the beach but set in a quiet and relaxing area. Does such a place exist? It certainly does.

The finger islands just off the famed Las Olas Boulevard offers quiet and safe accommodation for you and we have two apartments available that are perfect for you – right on the water, fully equipped and, as a bonus, have beach chairs and beach towels for you to take with you when you decide to spend time on the fabulous Fort Lauderdale beach.

The apartments are in the ideal place, a hidden gem in fact, as they are located halfway between the beach and the wonderful Las Olas Boulevard. The ground floor apartment is especially interesting to anyone who has restricted mobility – no stairs to climb! Although it’s not wheelchair-accessible it’s perfect for anyone who prefers not to use the stairs.

The apartment on the upper floor has breathtaking views over the canals and guests enjoy watching watercraft – large and small. For guests at both apartments, there’s a lovely waterfront dock which is the perfect place to sit and watch the boats go by.
