What’s the weather like where? Well, more or less anywhere really. When you’re planning a trip the weather may well be a factor when you’re deciding just where or when to go.

Although the days are gone when most people rely on sunny days so that they can lay, sardine-like, baking their skin to wrinkly mahogany, torrents of rain or incredibly high temperatures can help to spoil a trip away if unexpected.

Furthermore, there’s the practical aspect- just what to pack.

Of course, it’s a pretty easy matter to research on the internet, once you’ve decided where you’re going. Google and Wikipedia can give you much of the information you need.

But wouldn’t it be great if there was a website you could go to that would let you know the temperature and the rainfall in most of the popular locations in the whole world? You’ll not be surprised to know that there is such a site.

It’s not the most beautiful site I’ve ever been to – in fact, I’d suggest that it was designed around about the time of the millennium celebrations – but my goodness, it’s addictive.

You can see what the weather is like right now, or what it will be like next month, or what the average rainfall is for any given month, or whether the place is crowded with tourists,  or what you should pack, or the average sunshine hours, or what’s the best time of year to swim in the ocean … and once you’ve had a good look at the weather in Rome or wherever it’s easy to look at other resorts – nearby or on the other side of the world.

HERE’S THE LINK – HAVE FUN!
