To be honest, the photograph above only shows a segment of Marina Bay Sands but I thought it was rather stunning and couldn’t resist. Here’s a photograph showing the entirety of this amazing structure.

Pretty astonishing, right?

It’s quite an expensive hotel. At time of writing you’d have to fork out about $550 a night to stay there. But what a place…

Just seeing the architecture is a fantastic experience but the hotel features some fabulous amenities too. The rooms are luxurious but in addition, guests enjoy the rooftop infinity pool (the largest in the world), an onsite shopping venue (or the ‘shoppes’ as the hotel calls them), a museum, plenty of entertainment options in the theatres and restaurants including one signature venue from Gordon Ramsay.

Indoor skating rink? Casino? Laser shows? Oh yes, all that too.

HERE’S THE HOTEL’S WEBSITE

The resort was designed by Moshe Safdie, who claims that the look was inspired by a deck of cards.
