I prefer to think that I’m a really easy going person. But there are some things that I don’t like at all – pigeons, the word ‘awesome’, broccoli, cleaning toilets and … being cold. I really hate that. It’s why I live in Florida. If the temperature here dips below 70º I’m complaining about the cold.

This is why I’ve avoided mountain tops and skiing trips. I know that other people must feel the same about the cold because we have such luxuries as heated car seats, electric blankets, underfloor heating and so on. So heated clothing just makes sense, doesn’t it?

Which is why I’m writing about Ororo heated clothing. Yes, jackets, vests and a pretty good hoodie (see below) that contains its own heating source to keep you cosy in cold weather.

These are available for men and women and as if by magic, they warm up and thus warm you. (Actually, it’s not magic, it’s a rechargeable battery pack but still…)

Of the various designs, I think I prefer the hoodie version below.

The features are below, the whole malarkey is machine washable and the battery will keep you warm for about eight hours. The garment comes complete with the charger so it can be quietly storing heat for you while you sleep – in the morning it’s ready for another day in the mountains, by the lake or, with my luck, trudging around the shops,

There’s even a USB port within the garment so you can charge your phone.

Pretty fantastic, right?

All the range is available from Amazon so you can be sure that you’re buying from a reputable source.
