A travel product has to be pretty good to amaze me. So often they are a waste of suitcase space or they are something that can easily be adapted from another product or even DIYed at home.

But the Palette impresses me.

I usually muddle along with those travel-size containers in a ziplock bag for toiletry stuff and although that works fine, it’s just not very pretty, is it? And using those tiny TSA approved bottles is a bit of a nuisance.

They are fine for some items, the liquid-y ones, but for thicker lotions, gels and creams those little bottles are far from practical.

So the TSA approved Palette is also Traquo approved.

And it doesn’t take up much space in your bag. See the photographs below. And although it’s intended for travel, and particularly air travel, it’s great to use at home too, I like that in a travel product – if I can use it year-round it gives the item even better value for money.

You can use it time after time, so there’s no need for single-use plastics, it’s leak-proof and something i particularly like is that each container has a squishy base so that you can invert the bowl part to use every last drop of your product.

That’s so much better than those little travel bottles that, even when stood upsidedown for a day still have plenty of your moisturiser / foundation cream / sunscreen sticking to the sides.

Goodbye to those and hello and welcome to the High Fiver Palette!
