Of course, if I were to give you now a list of the countries which offer the best value for international travellers, that list would soon be out of date. Somewhere that was a great deal a year ago might not be these days.

One of the main reasons is the way that international currency fluctuates and yet another factor is the economy of the country you’re thinking about visiting. Regarding currency, today you could expect to get 77 UK pounds for your US dollar. This time last year you would have only been able to get 66. That’s actually a seventeen percent difference – quite a major factor to be taken into consideration.

But it’s not just the exchange rate that you need to take in account. There’s also how much you can actually buy with your foreign currency when you get there. What is the local inflation rate?  You might have  had a 17% increase in the number of pounds you can buy but if inflation has gone through the roof and a cup of coffee will cost you three times more than it would have last year….

STOP! IT’S TOO COMPLICATED!

It certainly is and this is why this website is such a great find. It does all the boring calculations for you 🙂
